It’s forty years since the Cinescénie at the Puy du Fou was created and a few years later the great extravaganza of outdoor shows followed. It has to be seen to be believed.
This leisure park is known as one of the most beautiful in the world, having won the Best Park in the World and the Best Theme Park in the World awards.
We encourage you greatly to make the most of your stay at the Gîte de la Gravée and visit the Puy du Fou. Keep a day free to visit the Park and if you like something to look forward to book your places for the Son et Lumière spectacular show the Cinescénie well in advance to avoid disappointment!

Once you enter the Puy du Fou le Parc you will start to relive different eras in French history and of the Vendée through the shows. Wander around the 50 hectare site and visit the period villages, all rebuilt to show what life in the village must have been like all those years ago. It’s a great way to learn history for everyone, from young to old.

The Cinescénie is a fantastic night show which takes place on Friday and Saturday evenings in June, July, August and early September.
Imagine a huge natural stage of 23 hectares, 2000 volunteer actors, scenes that will take your breath away – not to be missed!
Our suggestion: don’t forget to take something to keep you warm as the show takes place outside and book well in advance as the tickets sell out quickly.
